Finally got it done~!

This is for ~AirRider who asked me to tell them how to make a beat up game, but I decided to make a tutorial instead.

Sorry it took me so long ^^; just suddenly got really busy with year 12 and work lol

I hope this helps you, and if there are any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask, coz I could have spent more time on this, but I'm pretty sure it makes sense lol

I know the preview image is kinda cheesy, but its the best I could do the school computers, considering I forgot to make a preview at home yesterday XD

Well, enjoy making your games, and make sure to show me what you make! I'd love to see how you guys benefit from this :meow:

:meow: [link]

I know how to do pretty much everything. I only have problems with making the movieclip's depth change with actionscript so it's not always behind/over stuff

Cool ^_^ Well done

Try this to change the depth of your MC's:

1. select an MC (movieclip)

2. click "Modify>Arrange" and try the different options in that popup menu ^w^

Hope that helped :meow: Good luck!

asdfadf that isn't exactly helpful in a game in which the depth change CONSTANTLY during the game -.-

I'm fine with as3.

It jsut hurts to see people learn things the bad way. They won't undertand and will always need help.

I prefer as2 because this way I can use many old tutorials if need be (ones made before as3 was released)..

that's the problem.

as2 is old, slow, terrible to debug, encourage people to do the switch by posting as3 tutorials instead of as2 ones.

Hm. Just wondering, could you give me a link to the (free, if possy-bell!) download for program needed to make a dress-up game? If you don't know, that's okay! (I sound likee an idiot!)
